I am really, really, really stupid sometimes XD
So, in lieu of the T.G.I. Friday’s fiasco that I got roped into yesterday on Facebook, (I am very sorry to everyone who was affected.) I couldn’t help but realize that I do some fucking idiotic things from time to time. And they are hilarious.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not an unintelligent individual. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but in the big scheme of things, I can safely say that I am a person of above average intellect. I have a decent vocabulary, I can understand advanced concepts of science and mathematics, and I generally make good and rational decisions. But I can’t help the fact that sometimes my brain just short-circuits.
And we are all guilty of these temporary lapses of intelligence from time to time. They occur so frequently that I affectionately call them “idiot attacks.” So let’s reflect upon them, laugh, and try our best not to repeat them. But no promises.
- Wondering where my keys are while driving my car
- Telling someone to turn off the lights when the only source of light in the room is the sun
- Looking for my phone while on my phone
- Asking someone too give me a definition for a term when I am on a computer and could just Google it myself
- Forgetting someone’s name three sentences after they’ve introduced themselves
- Pushing on a door that is clearly labeled “Pull” and vise versa
